Mr Archer organised and performed at hundreds of events during his life. He was a mentor to many young musicians and bands, he organised and was MC at the Derby Country Music Club events since the 1990s.

Mr Archer was also a founding director of Derby Media Aboriginal Corporation (and many other corporations in the Kimberley) the home of Larkarrdi Radio 6 DBY. Without Mr Archer`s hard work Kimberley Country Music would not be what it is today.

On the program is a smorgasboard of Kimberley Country Music.

KIMBERLEY GOLD Time to put on your dancing shoes, this famous 5 piece band from Halls Creek features singer/songwriter and hot country picker Peter Brandy (Kimberley Backroads), Danny Calwyn (vocalist) and Cleve Stretch (guitar). They have been around for a while and know what the crowd like to hear, originals and country music covers that will have the dance floor packed.

A big thankyou to our generous sponsors Winun Ngari Aboriginal Corporation, Kimberley Mineral Sands ThunderBird Operations, Derby Media Aboriginal Corporation (6 DBY) and Derby Sportsmans Club. Do not miss this.
