The town of Derby in the West Kimberley boasts of having the highest tide every year in Australia and the second highest tide in the southern hemisphere.
At 3.42pm Sunday the 10th of April you will see the tide reach a massive 12.23 metres.
Come and enjoy the celebration being brought to you by Derby Media Aboriginal Corporation (6DBY Radio), The Boab Festival Committee, Archer Builders, SAAOC Committee and the Shire of Derby West Kimberley.
There will be live music, market and food stalls and a playground for children.

This West Kimberley institution has been going since 1996 and is world famous. All the action is at the Bill Duff Big Stage at the Derby Turf Club. Showcasing four Kimberley bands plus tribute artist Ricky Desilva doing the young ELVIS and his famous rendition of MICHAEL JACKSON in concert.
